If Lyme was Covid…

I was having this conversation with someone the other day. Our foundation’s mission is to raise awareness to the seriousness of Lyme disease and our hope had been to educate as many as we could about its’ dangers. In March, 2020, we were informed that there was a virus that was spreading rapidly throughout the country and that we needed to take precautions. Sadly many lost their lives to this virus and now 2 years later, lives are still being taken by this illness but lives are also still be taken by complications with Lyme disease. Other diseases like this did not go away. Our toll free lyme line was still receiving calls about needing help. There are days that I wished Lyme was Covid so it would get recognized by the medical community. For years, Lyme disease still continues to be ignored.
